Hard to believe you are already 1 year old. We are so blessed to have you in our lives. You are such a joy to be around. You are so full of smiles and every time we hear you laugh, we all laugh right along with you. This has been such a busy year for our family and you have been such a trouper through all of the changes. It is so refreshing to see the world through your bright eyes. It is amazing to watch you take everything in and learn so much so quickly. You love to clap your hands and dance any time you hear music. You love to help Mommy sort laundry and dishes. You also love to play in Max's food and water bowl, no matter how many times we tell you not to. You love to laugh and play with your big brother. The two of you have become very good friends and love to play together and make messes together. We smile and laugh so much because of you and your brother. We are so thankful that God has entrusted your care to the three of us. It overwhelms me when I think about how blessed we are to know you and love you and have you love us.
Because we have moved so far away from the home we knew, our friends, and our family, the last few months have been stressful and hectic for our family. The love and understanding you have shown us, even at not quite 1 year old, has been so appreciated and we want you to know that. You are such an amazing little girl, so sweet and loving. You are the reason your Daddy and I want to be better people. We want to be the best Mommy and Daddy we can be because you deserve that. We love you so much and can't wait to see what you have in store for us this next year. God is so good. As we put you in your bed tonight after reading "Love You Forever" and singing one last round of "Happy Birthday", we said a prayer of thanksgiving for such an amazing daughter and for the privilege of just sharing your life. Thank you, Hannah, for being you and for allowing us to love you and care for you.

Happy birthday sweet little one. I think my favorite thing about you is that fact that your little eyes literally twinkle every single time you smile (which is all the time).
We love you & we miss you & we are thankful for your family. You are one blessed little girl.
God is so good to us. Please don't ever forget that.
P.S. Am I the only mom in the world that is totally creeped out by that book? I must be...ha ha!
