7 years, 6 moves, 4 states, 2 countries, 1 dog and 3 kids ago, a young woman and a (slightly) young(er) man joined lives and began a journey. Little did we know as we promised to love, honor and cherish one another, just what that journey would be. It is amazing to look back over these seven years and think about all that we have gone through together. It is true that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. We have been so blessed and are so fortunate to know how hard we have needed to ( and will continue to need to) work on our marriage. We continue to adapt as a couple and, for the last 5 years, a growing family. Most importantly, we learned in the very beginning to keep God in our marriage. Our good friends have a sign that I remember seeing in their apartment after they were married. It reads, "You invited me to the wedding. Now invite me to the marriage--God". Such a great reminder (thanks Brad and Laura). After all, it is His covenant.
Though we haven't been still long enough to really think much about it, neither one of us feels the least bit itchy.
Happy Anniversary to us!
(Note to self: Try and take more pictures of the parents! This is the last picture I could find with both of us in it, sans enfants and technically Sarah is in the picture she was just in utero at the time. Taken September 2006...Pathetic!)

Happy, happy anniversary! Your wedding was a wonderful time. I love thinking about it. You are so lucky to have an amazing marriage. As hard as it can seem some times you two make it look easy.
