This week has felt really LONG. It has gone from incredibly warm and summerlike to really cold and rainy in literally 2 days. The kids are ready for school to be done. Next week is it. Yesterday the kindergarten toured the "Big School" and we've already been uniform shopping. Today Sarah and I went to Grade 1 orientation. He's moving on...and judging by the attitude lately, he's ready. Hannah is incredibly disappointed that she will not be moving anywhere, but we are focusing on what she will be old enough to do in the fall...ballet, soccer and staying all day 2 times a week at school. More than enough I'd say.
All 3 of our guys have had pretty miserable colds this week. Sarah has the worst of it now, but she is still being incredibly tolerant of all of the events we've had scheduled this week. She is much more confident walking and even while sick we haven't seen much of the crab crawl this week. We're starting to get used to looking up to see another little person enter the room and a little head above the furniture.
Daddy's home. Life is pretty good despite the weather and the lingering colds. Come on summer, we're ready!
