Guess who's 4? (Thanks to our friends Amy and Lauren for donating this very special shirt to our very special 4 year old!)

We love about our new four-year-old:

You don't need a reason to get dressed up in a costume other than it is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, etc.

When you dress yourself, everything is layered, even your pajamas.

You love your headbands so much you even want to sleep in them.

You like to tell us "secrets" like, "My best princess is Sleeping Beauty".

You can go from playing Barbies to Star Wars without missing a beat.

You will stop in the mid-step to inspect something sparkly and pink resembling make-up that has been carelessly discarded or dropped by someone else on the sidewalk at school.

You think Mommy is most like Cinderella because she does a lot of work and doesn't get to sit down to eat much (at least someone notices ;)).

You recently worried aloud about whether or not the milkman hurts the cows when he takes the milk from them and then wanted to make sure that their babies still had enough milk.

You love to sing anything and everything.

You live for Mondays when you get to be a ballerina for 45 minutes.

You enjoy reading and putting puzzles together in the afternoons.

You are probably the only 4 year old who's favorite song is "Coming to America" by Neil Diamond and it has only become so since the International festival this year when you developed such a pride in your country.

You are able to point out more nation's flags than your 30 something year old parents and can then tell us which of your friends comes from that country--you also like to say that your family is from the "Country of Texas". (Some Texans would not see the error in that!)

You love to take care of your baby sister and be taken care of by your big brother (sometimes).

You love all of us.

We all love you.
