And Now You're Five Part 2

Here is a picture of you this summer in our backyard. So grown up!

This summer we had a visit from Aunt Deedee, Jared Jr., Jacob and Memaw.  It was your second visit to The Louvre in Paris.  You loved walking through and admiring all of the paintings and sculptures.  It was such a joy to watch you take your time looking at each painting.  You have such a deep appreciation for so much.  You are teaching Mommy and Daddy to slow down and really take it all in every day.

This fall you began your third year in Holly Class.  You are one of Mrs. McCordall's big girls now and learning so much so quickly.

Our trip to Hong Kong this fall was such a blessing.  It was pure joy watching you light up at the sight of so many arms to hug you and so many people to love.  You brought smiles to so many faces with your hugs.  Of course, you know that you give the best hugs around.

Five Years Old!  We celebrated in Holly Class on Friday with cookies.  We celebrated with your friends at your "Littlest Pet Shop" birthday party on Saturday.  Each guest decorated her own cupcake and you thought it would be fun to share the cake at our church's Thanksgiving lunch on Sunday.  Lots of celebrating!  Five years old is a big one!

Today you are five years old.  Can you believe all of the adventures you have had in these five years?  And this is just a tiny sample of all that you have done and seen!  Hannah, we love you so much.  Thank you for the reminders to stop and take in the beauty around us once in a while.  You are such a gift to everyone who knows you and it is our pleasure to watch you grow and change so quickly right before our eyes.  Happy 5th Birthday!  Love,
