For Sale

Our house has officially gone on the market this week. We have worked our booties off getting the house ready to show and we will continue to work to maintain this level of completely abnormal cleanliness until someone finds our house appealing enough to buy. Hannah recovered after 5 days of miserable. Nathan and I both have gone through mild versions of her illness, but we all seem to be on the road to recovery. Daddy made it back late on Saturday and has had a very full week between work and home. The sleep deprivation that everyone seems to blame on our new baby is coming from the exhausting work of getting the house ready for sale, the paperwork involved in that process, the paperwork involved in leaving the country and arriving in a new one, and appointments, appointments, appointments. But things are falling into place ever so slowly. The kids are doing well. Nathan told Memaw and Yehyeh, who are visiting now, that all we ever talk about is "Belgium, Belgium, Belgium". Hannah thinks every time Daddy is not home that he is in Belgium. In the midst of all of this, Sarah turned 1 month old. She has become affectionately known as Sarah Bear around the house, but she is anything but a bear. She is such a wonderful, sweet addition to our family. She is going right with the flow of all of this preparation and chaos. We can't blame the circles under our eyes on her. She snuggles right down in bed with us every night and sleeps like a little angel. We were so excited to have a phone call last week letting us know her kidney ultrasound was normal and we can put all of that behind us. Praise God! She's managed to avoid the mysterious illness that made Hannah so miserable last week. Hannah made a full recovery when Daddy came home. She was back to her old self, completely. It was so nice to hear her laugh again and see her smiling. It was even nice to see her have the strength to argue and fight with us...at first. She is eating like she has never seen food before to make up for the days she went without and she's back to fighting nap time instead of falling asleep every two hours. She even had her first haircut on Tuesday and did a great job. We didn't get an official picture because the camera wasn't working at Carnival Cuts, but we do have some of her hair and the certificate. She looks very beautiful with her new hair.

Memaw and Yehyeh are here until Saturday, going through the madness that is our lives. Probably wondering why they ever signed up for this "vacation". Memaw even cleaned every window in our house! Thank you, Memaw. Unfortunately, when they leave on Saturday, Daddy leaves again too. He won't be gone as long or as far this time, but we'll miss him. Hopefully it will be a bit more of a relaxing trip and he won't be as exhausted.

Keep us in your prayers that the right buyer comes along and that everything falls into place for us regarding the move. I don't have many pictures this week since life has been so crazy, but here's our virtual tour. Time to clean up again.
