Loveys

Most kids have a small lovey. A blanket, a stuffed animal, a pacifier... Not Hannah. Hannah's lovey is this stroller--her favorite Christmas gift from Nana and Papa. She has adored it since the moment she saw it on Christmas morning, but became strangely attached to it during those few weeks daddy was gone before we moved. Sometimes she would have a baby in it, other times a stuffed animal, other times a ball, and sometimes nothing at all. It was not easy to drag the stroller along with us everywhere and most of the time I could convince her to leave it in the car, but it was not worth the battle to insist she leave it at home. The stroller arrived in our air shipment on Friday and I thought perhaps the love affair would have waned. Instead, it seems absence did make the heart grow fonder. Once again we are taking the stroller with us everywhere. Sometimes she likes it folded up and sometimes she wants it opened. She often changes her mind just how she wants it in the middle of the sidewalk on our way somewhere. She especially likes to change her mind in the rain and while we are trying to get to Nathan's school on time.
Today was a much better day. All three children slept all night long and it was blissful. Nathan had a wonderful time at his all day school. It was strange without him here. I kept wondering what he was doing and how things were going. He wants to go all day every day. It will come soon enough. Hannah had a lovely day as well, but she did miss her brother and she still misses her daddy.
The other pictures are from bath time tonight. Sarah was ready for bed immediately and was not pleased that her brother and sister had to be bathed, lotioned up and put into their jammies before she could get to sleep so she had no smiles for the camera.
