Late Night Comedy

We are thankful to Hannah for providing some bed time comic relief in a land without Letterman or Leno...

Each night before going to sleep the kids say their prayers and Hannah begins listing family and friends to thank God for watching over. She starts with the five of us and Max and then proceeds to list various family members. Due to time constraints she isn't always able to list every person, but she does vary from night to night who is listed and we figure that everyone is covered within a week's time. As she begins her list, we often help her along when she gets stuck depending on which direction she goes while listing family members.

Tonight as she began to list Daddy's siblings she got through three of his sisters and then got stuck.

"And Aunt Debbie", Mommy prompted.

Hannah obediently repeated what she had heard, "And Aunt W". We guess that she was thinking, "Hey, I have an Uncle 'J', why not an Aunt 'W'?"

We giggled enough to prolong bedtime which has been entirely too late around here lately. We are going to have to work really hard to change that as we begin Vacation Bible School this week and Nathan begins kindergarten the very next. Wish us luck!
