What Day Is It?

What time is it? Where are we? We do know the answers, but jet lag is a lot rougher this time around. It is Saturday almost 11:30 AM and we have just been home 24 hours. After two different mechanical delays, one in San Antonio on Wednesday causing us to miss our overnight flight to London, and one in Chicago causing us to leave over 4 hours late, we are home. Our luggage, not so much. We should have it delivered today. We were all in bed by 8 PM last night and the kids were up again at 3 AM this morning. For some reason Noggin has gone to a 24 hour schedule and thanks to Slingbox, our kids are benefiting from American overindulgence via Europe. Nathan has been watching all morning with a smile on his face getting reacquainted with shows he hasn't seen in months. We are all laying around like slugs trying to force our eyes open.
Despite the obvious difficulties on our actual days of travel, it was so wonderful to be home and see our families and friends. We miss everyone already. The kids were discussing what life might be like if they could live with just their cousins every day...no parents. They really had a great time. We all did. No pictures yet, but promise they will come. For now, picture 5 little slugs trying desperately to switch over to 7 hours ahead in time for school and work on Monday. We love and miss everyone so much!
