I know the title is not PC, but neither are the Belgians at times...just visit around Christmas time or have dinner in a restaurant in Brussels (with your husband's new boss) in the spring and find some white guys dressed in black face and fancy clothes carrying little black baby dolls that double as a sort of piggy bank, soliciting money for a charity. (Sorry, can't google and link everything).
For those who don't live here, Belgians love scarves. Many wear them year round. It isn't uncommon to see a Belgian wearing shorts and a scarf on a warm day. It appears to be rubbing off on our daughter. She has begun wearing her scarf at all times. A few days ago she wore this scarf with a sundress as we were out shopping. Tonight she took it to a whole new level. I am not close enough with any Belgians to hang out with them in their jammies, so who knows?
