Today while driving to check out a new gymnastics place, we were talking about being patient and kind. I told the kids that being patient and kind isn't always easy for me so I try to pray for God to help me because even when something seems really hard, God can help us if we let Him.
There was a little pause. And then...
Hannah: "Well, you can't just pray and ask God for a pet unicorn. He's not a magic fairy".
Pause.
Hannah: "You also can't pray and ask God for a magic fairy".
