He's Alive

Nathan made a cross necklace last week at a playdate. He was very proud of it.
I asked Nathan, "What is on your necklace?"
Nathan: "A cross".
Me: "It is so pretty. Just like the cross Jesus was on". (With this statement I hesitated...we haven't actually ever discussed this before...I waited for the questions)
Nathan: "He's not there anymore".
Me: "Where is he?"
Nathan: "He's Alive!" (Eyes twinkling, very excited!)

You have to love that excitement. More than that, you have to love Sunday School teachers. In just the few months we've been here, Nathan has learned so much about what is in the Bible. I'm so thankful for these teachers and their time and patience.
