Sarah got to go on her first walk today. The thermometer read 43 and the kids were begging to go outside, so we did. I know being pushed in the double stroller wasn't exactly what Nathan meant when he asked to go outside, but at least we all got some fresh air, Hannah got a little nap, and Mommy got some exercise! I don't have any pictures, because I am the only one here and Sarah was snuggled into her Baby Bjorn. Nana and Papa left this afternoon after we wore them out the last few days. We were able to get a lot of things done while Nana and Papa were here to play and take care of these little guys. (A big thank you to both of you!)
While we were walking, we discovered that not everyone has cleared their sidewalks as well as our Daddy did. I taught Nathan and Hannah to say "Iceberg, right ahead!" (from Titanic) any time they saw a huge pile of snow in our way. We watched the geese and ducks flying back and forth between the ponds trying to find a place where the ice had melted enough to let them go for a swim. It was so nice to be outside again.
When we got home Sarah exploded in her pants. It was quite impressive and she probably lost about a pound. And then Hannah went poo poo in the potty for me for the first time. She has done it for Daddy more than once, but never for me. We sang the "Poo poo in the potty" song (from Look Who's Talking Too) and gave lots of high fives. She's quite proud of herself.
Daddy was very busy exploring Waterloo and trying to find a place for us to live today. He's probably getting ready for bed about now. We miss you Daddy and can't wait until you get home.
We've got a busy day tomorrow and a few more days before Daddy gets back, but we are all doing well and had a really good day today.
